16th January 2019

The Land Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeremy Brookes as Head of Business Development for the South.

A chartered surveyor by profession, Jeremy joins the Land Trust after spending the previous three years working as a consultant. His career includes a nine year spell as Head of Estates Corporate Property at Prudential plc and 12 years as a partner at GVA Grimley.

He has worked extensively across the UK and internationally and is also an RICS accredited mediator. He will be based in Bristol.

Land Trust Chief Executive, Euan Hall, said:

“We are delighted to bring Jeremy on board in what is a crucial period of delivery for the Land Trust. We have a number of sites in our pipeline that are close to transfer and Jeremy will bring valuable deal making skills as we look to get these deals completed, add further sites to our portfolio and deliver increased charitable benefit.”

Commenting on his appointment, Brookes said:

“I’m excited to join the Land Trust and believe the skills and experience I have can be a real asset to the work of the organisation and I’m looking forward to working for a charity that is so passionate about making a real difference to the people and communities around our sites.

“The positive benefits of the Land Trust’s work and well managed green space on people’s physical and mental well-being, the environment, people’s learning and the economy is there for all to see and I want to help the Trust become the first choice for property developers, housebuilders and land promoters for green space management.”
