Green Angels Hassall Green

Green Angels is an exciting training opportunity with an environmental focus, giving you the chance to learn new skills, change your future prospects and make a difference in your community. Our FREE courses cover subjects such as wildlife conservation, landscaping, environmental education, horticulture and more. Training programmes usually last around six weeks, with regular sessions that combine learning with hands-on experience.

COURSES YOU CAN BOOK:

WILDLIFE IDENTIFICATION

Starting 18th July 2019

A 3-day course which aims to teach adults how to identify different wildlife, from insects to badgers, and learn about various survey methods. View our course poster to see more details about the course content.

All courses will run either at Hassall Green Nature Reserve or our sister site Silverdale Country Park. Hassall Green is a remote site with limited parking, so transport can be arranged to help you attend courses if required.

Land, in particular public open space and wildlife, has always been my passion and here at the Land Trust I get to make a difference. I enjoy covering a large area of England and Wales and seeing a wide variety of sites. No site is the same, so it makes my job interesting.
