Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park organises a monthly Women’s Nature Wellbeing Club – an hour session in which women can learn and explore nature and attend to their wellbeing. Learn more about each month’s topic on: Events at Greenwich Peninsula | TCV

4th of April: Natural Dyes and Egg Decorating

In April, the Women’s Nature Wellbeing Club celebrates Spring and the beautiful colours found in nature.

We’ll make natural pigments using plants and decorate eggs and fabrics.

Free entry, however, booking is required as only 10 spaces are available at a time.

Dress for the weather! The first part of the session takes place outdoors – a relaxing and informative walk in the park. The second part of the session takes part in our educational classroom and consists of an hands-on, crafty activity

The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.

Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park

Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides and pond dipping platform. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.

We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square , John Harrison Way or Millennium Way stops. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited. Please note that the outer boardwalk is currently closed for repair. You can get to the gatehouse and park via the Thames Path, off John Harrison Way.
