Find out about the River Park and how dogs can use the park safely with responsible owners and our visitors with autism.
All dog walkers will be welcomed at the gates of both entrances and given dog bags and treats for the dogs. There will be demonstrations of dog handling from 11.30am with Wirral Alsatian Training School and other groups; refreshments in the site office at Mersey View; stalls from local dog-related groups, including microchipping.
Fun dog show at 1.00pm. Classes: Most Handsome Dog; Prettiest Bitch; Cutest Pup (under 12 months); Best Senior (7 years and over); Best Rescue and Fancy Dress.
All dogs must be on a lead for the dog show.
Support Friends of Port Sunlight River Park to improve the park.
Accompanied children are welcome.
No charge to enter park. £1 for each Dog Show class
Donation for drinks; dog with its lead; dress for the weather.
Toilets and drinks available at the centre.
Site office at Mersey View picnic area, 10 minutes' walk from the Dock Road North car park.
Paths from the Mersey View car park are accessible along the Mersey. Access to Mersey View car park can be arranged for disabled visitors, please call 07587 550060.
Car parking available in the car park and on Dock Road North for non-disabled visitors.
