Green Angels are hosting a Wildlife Day at Port Sunlight River Park. Come along for a fun and fab festive FREE event! Suitable for all ages, there will be a Treasure hunt and lots of crafting fun! There will be mindfulness sessions led by Rise and Wild and Guided Bird Walks led by Cheshire Wildlife Trust!
The event is run in collaboration with Green Angels – The Land Trust, The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), Autism Together, Friends of Port Sunlight River Park, Rise and Wild and Cheshire Wildlife Trust. Activities will be taking place inside and outside the Heritage Centre, on the banks of the Mersey.
We will be joined by Rise and Wild leading three nature-based mindfulness workshops: Cheshire Wildlife Trust leading three guided bird walks: Autism Together will be providing lots of delicious refreshments from the kiosk: TCV – The Conservation Volunteers and Friends of Port Sunlight River Park will be on hand to tell you more about the fantastic work they will be doing! Activities will be based out on the park, we recommend comfortable clothes, sensible and sturdy footwear. We would recommend checking the forecast before your journey to the park, and bringing suitable items. No need to bring extra items for any of the activities, if you have your own binoculars for the bird walks please bring these but they are not a necessity.
Toilets are based in the Heritage Centre. Refreshments will be available from the Café.

Port Sunlight River Park's Heritage Centre is accessible for all. All paths are well surfaced. Flat routes are available. Accessible paths shown on the interpretation at the entrance. Pedestrian entrance at Shorefields is via two flights of steps.
Parking is available at the main car park on Dock Road North, Bromborough, CH62 4TQ. Disabled parking allowed on site at the Heritage Centre car park with display of a valid permit. Please ring Mary Breeze on 07392 260215 upon arrival, if you require disabled parking.
