World Tai Chi Day at Festival Gardens

Festival Gardens to May 2017

30th April 2016 : 10:00-14:00

Celebrate World Tai Chi Day at Liverpool Festival Gardens

This exciting free event starts at 10am with a mass demonstration of Tai Chi and Qigong at the Riverside Drive entrance.

Following the demonstration the gardens are going to be alive with Tai Chi and Qigong workshops which the public are invited to join in.  These will be led by qualified instructors from around the country and will be a great way for everyone to experience what Tai Chi is all about coupled with the wonderful setting of Festival Gardens.

At midday there will be a break for a picnic followed by demonstrations from different Tai Chi schools for everyone to watch.  Instructors and students will be on hand to answer any questions.

The event co-ordinator, Angela Howarth of Angela’s Tai Chi School explains, ”the World Tai Chi and Qigong Day was started in America and now embraces over 70 nations.  It is a great opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to experience and take part or to simply watch.  Tai Chi and Qigong can have great health benefits.”

If anyone has any questions or would like to get in touch please contact Angela.
