14th October 2017 : 10:30
Schnauzerfest is a nationwide fundraising collection of walks with schnauzers held on the weekend of October 14th and 15th 2017. Walks and social events will take place all over Britain which bring together schnauzers and their human and other canine companions. From small walks to larger ones, each will take place with two aims – FUN and FUNdraising.
Wellesley Woodlands is hosting a Schanuzerfest walk on Saturday 14th October, starting at 10.30am.
Meet at the Wellington monument and dress according to the weather. Car parking is available.

There’s no fee to join the walk, but through donations, Schnauzerfest will raise money for the Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC) based in Berkshire. This rescue provides loving care and veterinary treatment for many animals, including a large number of schnauzers that have experienced the terrible conditions of being confined to breed in puppy farms and commercial scale breeding places.
Many of these dogs require expensive veterinary care before they can be found loving homes and Schnauzerfest is a way of thanking DBARC for this and helping them to continue their work with all the animals in their care.
Donations can be made online at:
IMPORTANT: by attending this walk, you agree that you’re doing so by your own choice and taking full responsibility for yourself, your dogs and do not expect hosts or anyone else associated with Schnauzerfest to take any responsibility for you or your dogs. You also promise to enjoy yourself and have a great day out with your dogs 😉
Dress according to the weather.
