Green Gym allows you to give back to your community woodlands whilst improving your health and fitness.
Join us and our friendly bunch of volunteers for our Green Gym volunteer session. This is held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month and involves a number of conservation activities including woodland, habitat and wetland management. No previous knowledge required, just enthusiasm as we will teach you everything you need to know! Just bring yourself and our Project Officers will bring the rest, including ample tea and biscuits.
Just bring yourself and wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothes. The Project Officer will bring everything else such as tools and PPE.
There are no toilets on site but we do have permission to use the facilities at the Kiveton Park and Wales Community Development Trust office.
Meet at the picnic benches at the entrance to the site which is off Colliery Road, Kiveton Park, Wales, Sheffield S26 6LR
Accessible by all as long as we can communicate effectively and they are fairly mobile then there are very few things that people will not be able to get involved with. Open to all but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Ample free parking near the entrance of the community woodlands, just off Colliery Road and at the KPWCDT Building.
